Thank you all for all the dog love. It means so much to me!
I’m trying to ease out of the fog and catch up a bit and meant to post this last week.
One of the fun things I sometimes get to do is talk about church and life and Faith Shift and Down We Go and all kinds of other topics I like rambling about with other folks from all over the place.
Technology is amazing. I like real life first, but Skype can be a good second.
Here are some recent podcasts and blog interviews and some other fun initiatives I’ve been connected to recently, if you want to listen in or read or check out:
- Shalom in the City – A fun conversation with Osheta Moore on her podcast about Dignified Dialogue and holding our differences in tension in community as peacemakers. All of the show notes are in that link, too.
- Atheists Who Follow Jesus? – an interview on HelloChristian.com about Faith Shift.
- Breaking the Church Addiction on Theology.fm – I had such a good time hanging out with my friend Jeremy Myers when he was visiting Denver and came to The Refuge for Ash Wednesday. We took some time to record for his podcast and talked church addiction, Refuge, and all kinds of other things (all the questions are in the show notes link, too).
- Prayer for the Senses – The awesome and amazing Shellee Coley has created a series of meditations for the senses, based on The Shifter’s Prayer. You can follow her on Instagram or Twitter to get them–@shelleecoley. Her website is: www.shelleecoley.com.
- Faith Circus – We’ve been having some podcast fun with these unedited conversations. So far, 8 episodes are up. My favorite so far are the ones about faith and politics (7 and 8). If you are listening in and are on iTunes, we’d love it if you’d take a few minutes and write a review.
- Elizabeth Tai is blogging through Faith Shift on her blog, and is on Returning. Some of you might really resonate, and you can link back to the other posts through that one.
- April’s SheLoves Magazine theme is Sisterhood. So many good posts up there this month about supporting each other. Mine was last week–Sisterhood is Not Bound By Blood. May we be wind-makers and soul-supporters for each other!
There’s the catch-up for now.
I’m grateful to be connected to so many wonderful people who care about some of the same things and hope you can find a part of your story in some of these conversations.
Thanks for reading and listening.
peace, kathy
